l need a lot of work done on my teeth and it would cost me thousands over here in the uk that is if l can a dentist l am looking for some where cheep and good

Try to find a dentist that does NHS as well as private. They are hard to find but if you keep ringing around you may find one who is still taking on patients.
You do not need to be unemployed or on a low income to qualify for this and your treatment is done at a lesser rate than going private. I have been with my NHS dentist for years and have had extensive cosmetic work carried out on my teeth.

I know dental work is very costly, but bear in mind that cheap is not necessarily best, & if u do not get a first class dentist u might not get a decent job done on ur teeth. Teeth r important, do not take the chance of ruining them by having a botched job done, ur whole life could be changed. Why not get an appointment with 3 different dentists just for consultation to find out what really needs to be done & how much each would charge. It is probably much less than u think. You do not say if u need a lot of work done because u have been scared to go to the dentist for sometime. If this is the case, go to dentalfearcentral.com. As i person that had more than 1 teeth implants - i can say that they r quite expensive. One implant could cost as much as 2.5K, but, if u have more than one done at the same time, u get a huge discount ( half price).
Its a painful procedure - but u should fully recover within a week when u should start eating normally again.
Make ur homework. Get advise & recommendations. Check the Dentist' work, ask them to see what they did, how many procedures & see how that looks.

Unfortunately, extensive work such as bridges or implants are expensive pretty much everywhere. I am starting a dental savings account myself for extensive work. A dental school may provide these services for cheaper.

a dental school could do this work for u at a greatly discounted price. i had an implant placed at a dental school in the us & saved thousands, but it requires more visits than a regular dentist would. i do not reccommend getting cavities filled at a school, u will inevitably need to get them replaced. in my experience, it is worth spending the money on ur teeth. going to a chap denstist just hurts ur teeth in the long run & will cost u more, because u will need to get the work redone.

I would suggest you look into the local dental schools as a possibilty. Rarely do cheap and good quality go together when it comes to dental work.
